System certification
The CE marking is a fundamental obligation for manufacturers of products (e.g. industrial machines) destined for EU countries, as it certifies the their compliance with the applicable Community directives.
Given the important nature of this issue for companies, Olivero has trained a team of highly qualified personnel, which, after carrying out a preliminary assessment of the machine (so-called Risk Analysis), is able to guarantee its compliance for the customer, using one of two solutions: Re-certification or adaptation to the current legislation.
Re-certification or adaptation?
Depending on the customer’s needs and the condition of the machine, we’re able to provide both services: re-certification and adaptation.
For Olivero, re-certifying a machine means obtaining a new CE marking with a complete technical file, and assuming responsibility for it, even if we’re not the original manufacturer.
Adapting a machine to the current legislation, on the other hand, entails advising the customer and recommending the interventions to be carried out in order to adapt it to Italy’s Decree no. 81/2008 on occupational safety.
In this case, the customer remains responsible for the machine, while Olivero issues a report confirming the proper completion of the adaptation work.
Third party installation
The installation of systems on behalf of third parties, or rather systems not built in-house, but purchased from third parties, is another important service that Olivero offers in order to meet its customers’ needs.
